If the weather is good - conditional part.

In conditional part we are thinking about the future, but we mentally make -1 step back and say (present) “If the weather is good ”.

NOT If the weather will be good !

There are other words (not only “if”) that are used in 1st conditional sentences:

•when (+- synonym of if)

•as soon as (very soon after something happens)

•as long as (synonym of “if” or shows duration)

•once (very soon after something happens)

•after (after something happens)

• before (before something happens)

•until (this word marks the end of some process)

•unless (this word is used when the something kills the main part of the sentence)

•in case (“if this happens”)
